On the new MyChain, there are "Communities" , "Blogs",  "Profiles", and "Photo Albums". Each user can have a customized profile with all he funky color and background images etc...Check out my profile for example damie or miamiano. 

How do I change My Profile?
You can edit the "looks" of the profile by going into "Profile" then clicking on "Customize Profile".  If  you want to add Javascript, videocodes, html, iframes, or change your answers to the profile questions, then you need to go to "Edit Profile".

How do I find people and add them as a Friend?
You can search for people>> Simply click on "Users" on the pink menu.You can search by using all kinds of different criteria, or by username, name, email etc... if you know them.
You can browse for people>> Everywhere on the site, on the index page, the blog pages, the forums, and photo albums, you will see usernames of people. Simple click on them, and you can see their profile.
You can browse people's friends>>You can click on a user's friendlist and see who they are friends with.
To add a person, you click on the handshake icon <img src="http://www.mychain.com/images/icon_addasfriend.gif"> on their profile. If the user doesn't require authorization requests, you can add them right away and you both will appear on each other's friendlists.
To ban a person, which you do if you don't want any more communication from someone, you can click on the "gun" icon. <img src="http://www.mychain.com/images/icon_ban.gif">.
You can see your friends by clicking on "Friends" inside "My profile".

How do I Edit my Blog, Customize my Blog ?
To do all this, you first need a blog. You can create a blog, if you don't have one already by clicking on "Blogs" inside "My profile". Then you can define your blog's specifics. You can add entries by clicking on "Add an Entry", and you can customize your blog by clicking on "Customize my Blog". Blog Customization is almost the same as Profile customization, but here, you can also create a Custom CSS file if you're an advanced user. Don't forget to blog everyday once your open your blog! The latest blog entries appear on the "Blogs Page" on the pink menu.

How do I create a community or join a community?
If you have a specific subject you want people to talk about, or even if you have a group of people who want to talk about nothing in particular, you can create a community. It's very simple. All you need to do is go into "Chains" inside "My profile" and then you can create, edit or customize your community forum. Don't forget to add categories and forums inside the forum though, otherwise nobody will be able to write anything. You can add more forums, topics, categories as you wish later on. So don't worry about making the community too big at the beginning.

How do I message that hottie?
Hotties can be messages simply by clicking on "Send PM"  or the envelop icon <img src="http://www.mychain.com/images/icon_pm.gif">on their profile page or next to their username on other pages. You can see your messages (sent and received) by going to "Messages" inside "My profile". If you have a new messagein your messagebox, you will see a blinking envelope icon on the top of the page.

How do I upload my images, and create photo albums?
Again, as you manage everything else, you just go into "My profile" and there, click on "Photos" now you can create albums, upload photos, edit photos, tag your photos and do a lot of things.
